Is there an
advantage to using Rug Doctor Pro chemicals in our machines?
|
| |
YES! Our cleaning
solutions are formulated with advanced compounds
designed to improve cleaning results and optimize the
performance of your Rug Doctor Pro equipment. You sacrifice that
added efficiency if you use other manufacturer’s cleaners in
your Rug Doctor Pro machine.

How
can the Rug Doctor Pro extraction machine work on so many
surfaces? |
| |
When
the Carpet setting on the top of the machine is set to
"On", spray jets underneath the extraction unit
disperse solution onto carpeted surfaces. Toggle off of the
Carpet setting and connect separate attachment tools to the
dispensing port on the back of the unit for upholstery, hard floors,
ceilings and walls. For each application, solution
is applied, cleaning action occurs and the dirty residue is
vacuumed up – usually in just one pass. No scrubbing or wiping
is required. The easy-to-clean, easy-to-fill solution tank
accepts the proper soultion for whatever surface needs cleaning. |

How
is the Rug Doctor Pro Quick Dry process different than other wet
extraction cleaning methods? |
| |
Now
the Rug Doctor Pro Quick Dry extraction machine provides the
option of Quick Dry for routine maintenance cleaning jobs or
Deep Cleaning when carpets are heavily soiled. Quick Dry is a
combined machine system and cleaning solution that accelerates
evaporation and speeds drying time. The Quick Dry mode optimizes
dilution concentration and machine spray pattern so carpets are
usually dry-to-the-touch in less than 2 hours. |

If
carpet is really dirty, should I go over soiled areas several
times? |
| |
It’s
generally best to limit cleaning passes to a maximum of 2-3 times. If needed,
use Rug Doctor Pro Hi-Traffic Pre-Treatment, Spot Remover or Stain
Remover to treat stubborn areas. For multiple passes, it’s
best to let the carpet dry between applications. Over-wet carpets
not only excessively increase drying time, in extreme
cases saturation can cause mold and mildew
formation. |

Are
Rug Doctor Pro machines designed for commercial use? |
| |
You
bet! The Rug Doctor reputation for reliability and durability
was earned through 30+ years of constant use (and in many cases,
abuse) in the tough residential rental market. Professional
carpet cleaners began using the Rug Doctor machines for
commercial jobs because of their proven heavy-duty performance
and outstanding cleaning results. In fact, many of the units
purchased in the ‘70s and ‘80s are still in service today.
Using Rug Doctor equipment, over 6 million users each year
consistently achieve professional results. |

How
does Rug Doctor Pro compare to other commercial equipment? |
| |
Most
commercial carpet cleaning machines are heavy, bulky and
difficult-to-maneuver. In addition, they usually cost several
thousand dollars each. Compare the sleek, easy-to-handle design
of the Rug Doctor Pro units with a fold-down handle for easy
transport. Plus, the economical purchase price and cross-over
use on upholstery, hard floors, ceilings and walls make the
Rug Doctor machines highly cost-effective. Simple design, plus
bilingual labeling with easy-to-follow pictures means Rug Doctor
equipment requires little or no training to operate. As an added
benefit, a bilingual hotline is ready to help with your
toughest cleaning challenges. |

How
do Rug Doctor Pro machines compare to consumer equipment? |
| |
The
hand-held shampoo and carpet scrubbing equipment offered by many
vacuum cleaner manufacturers is generally designed for
light-duty, home-use applications in small areas. Consequently,
their low-cost construction and design usually cannot meet the
more demanding performance requirements for commercial
applications. By contrast, the Rug Doctor Pro equipment is
engineered to deliver years of low-maintenance service with
long-wearing stainless steel components, an impact-resistance
body and industrial-strength motor design. In addition, the
motor-driven vibrating brush and high-powered vacuum allow the
Rug Doctor to achieve better dirt extraction than less powerful
home-use units. |

How
does the Ceiling and Wall Cleaning System work? |
| |
To
clean ceilings and walls without scrubbing, versatile spray and extraction accessory tools
are available that connect directly to the Rug Doctor Pro carpet cleaning
machine. A high-efficiency, oxygen-activated cleaning solution
penetrates underneath film build-ups and breaks down dirt. On
non-porous (hard) surfaces the dirty residue is vacuumed away;
on porous surfaces (acoustical and popcorn-textured ceilings),
the penetrating spray whitens and brightens without extraction. |
